NOTICE TO NEW MEMBERS OF

HOLY TRINITY

When you request your letter of transfer from your previous parish, please make sure our office gets your new address and phone number. Believe it or not, transfer letters arrive at the office with only the transferor’s name, so we are unable to get in touch with you to obtain the necessary information for entry on our parishioner and mailing lists. You may also give your information to a Sunday Greeter at our Greeter Table at either the 8am or 10am service. Thank You.

PLEASE CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE WHEN:
A family member is admitted to the hospital
Your home or e-mail address or phone number changes
A new baby arrives in your family

Your group has a meeting or there is a meeting change
You feel the office or church can assist you in any way

CALLING ALL SHEPHERDS

Our Greeter Program that welcomes newcomers and new members to our parish is entering a new stage.  We want to do more than merely welcome new people at our door. We want to help find a comfortable place and a home here at Holy Trinity.  To do this we need parishioners (not just greeters) to step up and agree to help us support a new person or family at they make their home with us.  It doesn't require any skill--just making people feel at home and connected with others at Holy Trinity.  There will be a short orientation, so if you have an interest in growing our parish, please call or e-mail Kris Lidinsky or Bonnie Weaver, Newcomer Co-Chairs.

                               Kris Lidinsky:  624-2404; ksl243@comcast.net

                               Bonnie Weaver: 588-7523; bonwpb@bellsouth.net

Also, a “Cuban” lunch will be served—menu to be posted at a later date.) The Chapter is looking for any and all “still good” but no longer wanted or needed items. To help you in your decision-making process re: items, the Jumble Sale is to include a Patio Plant Department; High-End Boutique; Children’s Wear; Small Household Items, Utensils, and Appliances; Books; Videos; Tapes; and other “unusuals.” If you have questions regarding the acceptability of any of your items or any other questions, please call either one of the following ladies: Barbara Richardson: 561-493-2923, Sandra Heaton: 561-793-6376; or, Mimi Holley: 561-891-5316. TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY—The Vestry and the Lay Ministry Commission would like to match those who need rides to church and/or various church functions with those who are able to offer a ride. If you are in need of transportation or are willing to offer a ride, please call the Parish Office (655-8650). Once we have a list, we will make every attempt to connect driver and passenger. PLEASE offer to take someone to church on Sunday. It will mean so much to those who cannot get to church on their own.
