MINISTRY EXPANSION PROJECT

Our Vision for Growth
About ten years ago, the leadership team here at Holy Trinity formulated a strategic plan. At that time, 90% of congregants agreed to grow Holy Trinity to reach out and welcome more people in our growing community. The conclusion of the strategic plan was that Holy Trinity wanted to be an “unavoidable presence” in downtown West Palm Beach, a “spiritual beacon.”

The Master Planning Committee, Vestry, and numerous other church leaders prayed, provided input, and dedicated their time and talents to help formulate a plan to explore how we can best achieve our goals and enhance the welcoming, historic character of our church.

The Ministry Expansion Project is the result of their efforts.

Ministry Expansion Project Overview
The Ministry Expansion Project includes modernizing and beautifying our campus (while maintaining our historic character), increasing the size and scope of our program spaces, addressing the needs of our city (including workforce housing), and generating significant ministry resources through effective stewardship of our property, all while preserving our beautiful and historic church for future generations.

Why We're Expanding
Our Sunday worship attendance has nearly doubled since 2019. Our ministries to children and youth have expanded greatly. Every day of the week there is some ministry taking place on our campus, and usually multiple: Bible studies and recovery groups; outreach programs, worship services, and community gatherings, to name a few. This project is all about enabling our current and future congregation to fulfill our mission of proclaiming and sharing the amazing grace of Jesus Christ with our neighbors.

The Brodsky Organization
We are thrilled to announce that The Brodsky Organization has been selected as our development partner for the Ministry Expansion Project. The Brodsky Organization has a long history of partnering with Episcopal institutions to successfully achieve their ministry goals. As, our chosen development partner, they will assist us as we explore the Ministry Expansion Project. This project will broaden our reach and presence in the Palm Beaches and beyond, making us an “unavoidable presence,” and enabling us to better serve both our parish and wider community.

Project Timeline
As we explore and move forward with our plans, we will continue to meet and worship in our beloved church for the project’s duration. The Ministry Expansion Project will take a few years to complete:

  • Meeting with the City and working with them is expected to take one year.

  • Then we will complete the design and permitting phases.

  • Construction will take a few years to complete.
